New Vice President Brings Over 25 Years of Experience in Forensic Advisory Services

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 22, 2018-- Charles River Associates (NASDAQ: CRAI), a worldwide leader in providing economic, financial, and management consulting services, today announced the addition of Kevin Bennett as vice president in its Forensic Services Practice, affiliated with the Chicago office.

Mr. Bennett has led high-profile investigative, compliance, due diligence and risk assessment matters both domestically and globally. He has worked on behalf of Special Committees of the Board of Directors, advising them on complex accounting investigations and the application of GAAP. Mr. Bennett has presented the results of corporate investigations to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), US Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and other government regulators. He has advised companies and their legal counsel on global anti-bribery and anti-corruption matters regarding potential violations of the anti-bribery and books and records provisions of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and complex accounting investigations. Mr. Bennett has supported management and corporate boards of directors with comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential fraud, bribery and corruption related risks. He has also assisted corporations in developing and enhancing their anti-bribery and anti-corruption compliance programs to meet their legal compliance requirements, corporate mandate, and transactional due diligence responsibilities.

Mr. Bennett received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Principia College.
